A native of Northampton, Massachusetts, Jeanne relocated to Florida in 2005. She is a married mother of three plus two stepsons, and the grandmother of 12 children.

Jeanne currently resides in the city of North Port with her husband Henry and their Shih-Tzu, Cha-Cha. Jeanne is a 1981 graduate of The Business Education Institute of West Springfield, Massachusetts, with a diploma in Systems Programming and Operations.

In addition to attending numerous courses and conferences, Jeanne also earned the national Retirement Housing Professional certificate from the American Association of Homes and Services for the Aging and the University of North Texas. She was formerly employed as the Office Manager/Relocation Director, and operated a small home-based business service for several years.

Prior to relocating to Florida, Jeanne held the position of Executive Director of The Fisher Home, a women’s retirement home located in Amherst, Massachusetts for nearly 10 years.

In her free time, Jeanne loves to read, walk the beach, practice photography, cook, swim, and dance. Jeanne thoroughly enjoys her position at River Commons. She states, “It is truly a pleasure to work daily in such a lovely atmosphere alongside the special caring staff employed here. The very best part of my day comes from providing good service to our seniors. It also lies in having the privilege of getting to know and care about the people who reside here.
